A military identification tag for the immortals. Netflix & ORSKA collaboration story

The  Old  Guard, the latest Netflix production starring Charlize Theron had its high-profile premiere on July 10. On this occasion, the leader of streaming platforms in Poland in cooperation with Filmweb (a Polish internet service dedicated to films and film industry people) organized a competition in which one of the dog tags made by ORSKA can be won.

This original necklace was designed by Anna Orska specifically for this collaboration with Netflix. The limited edition consists of 100 numbered copies handcrafted from oxidized brass. The double-sided pendant with a hammered surface contains a symbol inspired by the film. The double-headed axe is Andy’s - the main female protagonist in the movie - distinctive weapon of choice. She commands a team of immortals who have been helping humanity for centuries – and now they have to face the greatest challenge in their history!

The people behind the Old Guard production wanted to emphasize the power of women, so they decided to work in collaboration with a designer known for bold and unconventional solutions. The form of the necklace is also not accidental - raw metal and the form of a military dog tag, associated with bravery and valour, harmonize with the main aspect of the film: immortality.

If you'd like to get one of Orska & Netflix necklaces, we encourage you to try your hand at the competition - just have a look here. Whereas classic ORSKA dog tags can be found in the Revolt collection.
