The Industrial Revolution changed the world of our ancestors, and the technological revolution has shaped our reality. Nuts and bolts connected the components that built almost every object that enables our daily functioning. These inconspicuous-looking components, hidden under a showy casing, usually perform their role in a hidden way. They do not draw attention, tirelessly and discreetly working to keep everything running as regular as clockwork. In the Machines collection, we brought them out of hiding. Using screws, we constructed objects of desire: striking necklaces, personalized bracelets and simple industrial earrings. In a characteristic way, we interpreted the technology, showing what usually remains invisible to the eyes. In the jewelry workshop, the individual pieces created a completely new quality. Jewelry from the Machines collection adds a human face to modern technology and with a touch of humor makes it more approachable.

Original ring with cog and screw

We translated robotic elements such as screws and gears into jewelry forms at the ORSKA studio in Poznań. The ring was made by hand. The wide band was cast in nickel silver, then decorated with a brass cog and a gold-colored screw. This industrial accessory will complement both everyday and elegant outfits, and will attract attention with its unusual design. Due to its universal nature, the ring will work as a gift for both a man and a woman who loves edgy and bold jewelry. The rings are available in both men's and women's sizes. The working cogs, intricate systems, transmission systems and centres of gravity made us dependent on their growling, purring and tapping. Anna Orska decided to immortalize old technologies and mechanisms doomed to oblivion in the form of jewellery and thus give them a second life. The ring from the Machines collection in the shape of a paper clip was handcrafted from brass. It looks great when accompanied by a bracelet from the same collection.
