The lush vegetation here forms the largest natural pharmacy in the world. It not only nourishes, protects and inspires, but is also an integral part of the many rituals that set the rhythm of life on the island. Local plants, fruits and flowers are the primary ingredient in the offerings made each day at home shrines. They act as a link between the earthly and the otherworldly. With the many changes that have taken place on the island, the designer returned to the Balinese roots: nature, crafts and rituals. Handcrafted by local masters, the jewelry sculptures, not coincidentally, depict local flora and fauna. Nature and rituals are ubiquitous and inseparable in Bali. Kembali jewelry collection - The return

Kembali in Indonesian means return. The name of the collection includes not only the name of the place where the handmade jewelry was created, but also refers to designer Anna Orska's return to the island of flowers. After nearly eight years, the artist returned to Bali, but the place she once knew turned out to be completely different. Many things had changed - first of all, most of the workshops that had prospered during her first trip had disappeared. She decided to base her next collection, Kembali, on unchanging things, returning to the Balinese roots: rituals, crafts and nature.

Stately ring with an irregular surface from the New Stone collection

The magnificent sterling silver ring from the New Stone collection catches the eye with its rough and irregular texture. A large oval disc attached to a wide ring evokes the image of a volcano observed from a bird's eye view. Old plastic, New Stone - the jewelry collection with the stone of the future

The New Stone artistic jewelry collection was born out of a reflection on the state in which we want to leave the planet to our successors. For the sake of the Earth's future, the production of the new can be replaced by processing what is already available. Because what do we have in excess? The answer is simple: waste. So if we want to make a real difference, we should focus our attention on seemingly inconspicuous raw materials. In line with this idea, the synthetic New Stone gem was created. Although small in size, it can inspire others to create boldly. Post-industrial plastic along with silver filings (leftovers from metal processing at ORSKA) was subjected to experimental processing, resulting in a distinctive dark stone with shiny particles. All this to give this material a unique second life.

Looking for more inspiration, Anna Orska traveled to Morocco. Among the African colors and scents, she discovered a workshop where one of the country's hallmarks is manufactured. Metal lamps delighted the designer with their intricate, lace-like structure and variety of shapes. In a sheet of metal, local artists hand-cut and embossed pre-drawn shapes, which, in accordance with Islamic tradition, do not contain human or animal representations, but multiplied, finely-drawn vines, leaves and flowers. The resulting openwork phenomenally transmits beams of light, painting unforgettable compositions on the walls.

The ring was handmade from silver in a Moroccan workshop. The masters from Marrakech cut the round shape and gave it an openwork structure with a floral pattern. The Industrial Revolution changed the world of our ancestors, and the technological revolution has shaped our reality. Nuts and bolts connected the components that built almost every object that enables our daily functioning. These inconspicuous-looking components, hidden under a showy casing, usually perform their role in a hidden way. They do not draw attention, tirelessly and discreetly working to keep everything running as regular as clockwork. In the Machines collection, we brought them out of hiding. Small treasures found in the forest undergrowth, brought to ORSKA studio, inspired her to expand her jewelry herbarium. When solidified, the liquid rock forms porous stones with an irregular structure, which we translated into jewelry forms at the ORSKA studio in Poznań. The signet ring was handmade by layering heated liquid silver. During this process, jewelers sanded and polished each layer so that the seemingly rough surface became smooth, soft, and almost liquid. The signet ring has burned irregular holes of different sizes. The cast silver formed an original design with a structure resembling fragments of volcanic rock. The smooth surface inside the ring makes it lightweight and comfortable to wear. As a result of this process, a synthetic stone was created, which is the heart of the New Stone collection. The lightweight black block with rainbow-like shimmer and texture reminiscent of crystallization known from natural minerals was made of processed plastic with addition of brass filings from ORSKA jewellery studio. The impressive ring was handcrafted. Raw, imperfect texture of the brass brings to mind associations with natural, rough rock surfaces, which emphasizes the original character of the whole.

And artificial, created by man, which, although it entered the water barely a moment ago, will remain there for thousands of years to come. Unless... someone makes it an object of desire. Designer Anna Orska wanted to reinterpret amber, which until now many people associated with holiday souvenirs. She set the unique specimens, with different colors, textures and degrees of transparency, in modern, geometric forms made by hand in the ORSKA workshop. The Baltic Sea is a symbol of freedom and happiness for Anna Orska. The sea, which has attracted the designer to the sandy shore for many years, became the main character of the Baltica collection. ORSKA juxtaposed amber with a synthetic stone created from abandoned fishing nets and ropes fished from the bottom of the Baltic Sea by the Mare Foundation and KGPR. The stone, created in a handmade process by the Boomplastic group, shimmers in shades of deep green, which contrasts with the honey-gold color of the amber. Thanks to the combination of two seemingly mismatched stones, the jewelry in the Baltica collection is not just an ornament. It is a manifesto: there is an important message behind the form.

The Rundo collection was inspired by the waters of five oceans and more than seventy seas. Because the boundlessness of the Big Blue leaves no one indifferent! The wavy surface of the jewelry is reminiscent of the restless sea depths, and the round elements bring to mind circles on the water. Harmonious, classic and elegant jewelry in the new design combines contrasting colors of silver and gold, giving the impression of a light refracting mosaic, dancing on the restless surface of the sea. Hand-forged circles form short and long necklaces, delicate and long earrings, brooches, bracelets, as well as a ring. Water creates life. It is a symbol of rebirth and perseverance. At the ORSKA atelier, we attempted to translate the majesty of the element of water into the original ring. On the open thin band we placed two discs with a wavy structure and hand-forged surface. Their design brings to mind a sheet of water illuminated by the sun and disturbed by drops of summer rain.
