The Microcosm up close
In our jeweler’s garden, colorful flowers bloom - not soft and romantic, but precise, bold, and geometric like origami. Among poppies, forget-me-nots, and chamomile, life is buzzing: a firefly flickers, a grasshopper plays its tune, an orb-weaver spider spins its web, and a stag beetle rests. The Plantis jewelry collection tells the story of a small, almost unnoticed world unfolding beneath our feet and of its inhabitants, who do not seek admiration but quietly and diligently carry out their work. Here, nature is not confined to a vase, it lives on the body and blossoms all year round.

The Plantis jewellery collection is iconic for the ORSKA brand. The colorful flowers growing within it are not soft and romantic, but geometric and precise like origami. Among poppies, forget-me-nots and pansies twisted together with the help of watchmaker’s screws, insects have made their home: photogenic ladybugs, concert-playing grasshoppers, useful bark beetles, centipedes and longhorn beetles, as well as the unfairly underestimated garden spiders. And many more! Each specimen tells a separate story written in antennae, wings and details that can be admired for hours. They attract attention with their metallic-colored shells and handcrafted execution. The intricate construction of these insects invites careful observation, but it also encourages us to look at insects in a slightly friendlier way. After all, how could one not love hardworking ants or fireflies in love?
The Plantis collection is about noticing the extraordinary in small things. It was created for those who look closer and see more. While creating it, Anna Orska carefully explored a quiet, miniature yet surprisingly complex microcosm. Everyday insects, usually unnoticed, were placed at the center of attention. Seen up close, they reveal a completely different dimension of beauty - raw, delicate, and geometric like architecture. It is a tribute to detail that usually passes unnoticed. It is also a way of looking at the world: up close, slowly, and with attentiveness.
Symbolism of insects - ladybug jewellery
The ladybug is a symbol of luck, protection, and renewal. In many cultures the appearance of a ladybug foretells good news or the fulfillment of a wish. Its intense color not only deters predators but also attracts attention - it is like a sign that something good is happening. A ladybug pin makes a great gift for nature lovers or gardening enthusiasts. Ladybugs are natural “garden heroes,” so such a gift will be appreciated by someone who loves plants, flowers, and living in harmony with nature. It can also serve as a lucky charm for anyone you wish well making it not only a classic symbol of good fortune but also a universal gift.
Symbolism of insects - ant jewellery
For centuries, the ant has symbolized diligence, perseverance, and the strength of community. It embodies patient work, where recognition matters less than purpose and consistency. Though small, it represents immense power, ants can carry loads many times heavier than their own bodies. In culture, the ant reminds us that true strength lies in everyday effort, loyalty, and wise cooperation. It represents the spirit of order, system, and quiet heroism. Because ants also symbolize loyalty and community, jewellery featuring an ant makes a meaningful gift from a teammate, sibling, or close friend for someone who is always “in the anthill of life” right beside you.
Symbolism of insects - grasshopper jewellery
The grasshopper symbolizes lightness, freedom, and the courage to leap into the unknown. It represents the spirit of nature that is not afraid of change, able to pause in silence and then spring forward with energy. In many cultures it is a symbol of intuition, creativity, and living according to one’s own rhythm. It does not walk - it leaps, trusting the impulse of the moment. The grasshopper reminds us that sometimes, to move forward, we must first lift ourselves off the ground. Jewellery with a grasshopper motif is a gift as light as a summer leap through the grass, perfect for people who carry freedom, energy, and a touch of wildness within them. If someone writes, sings, paints, or simply daydreams, this may be their jewellery spirit totem.
Symbolism of insects - moth jewellery
The moth symbolizes mystery, intuition, and inner light. Although it lives in the shadows, it constantly follows the glow. Its delicate, almost translucent wings tell a story of fragility and courage at the same time. The moth teaches that what is nocturnal and inconspicuous can be just as beautiful and meaningful as what is bright and loud. Jewellery with this motif suits those who think most deeply after dark, who love evenings, stars, dreamy conversations, and midnight tea. It also makes a meaningful gift for those who follow their intuition even into the fire.
Symbolism of flowers expressed in jewellery
Every flower carries symbolic meaning. By using commonly known associations connected with specific plants, we can create a nonverbal language. Deep feelings, joy, devotion, or care can be expressed through certain species or even colors. These same values are encoded in jewellery from the Plantis collection. Every brooch, necklace, or pair of earrings with a floral motif expresses emotion.
Flower symbolism - chamomile jewellery
Chamomile is especially known for its healing properties, but there are many more reasons it deserves attention. This modest herb is not only healthy, natural, and charming but also approachable and unpretentious almost like the ideal itself. Although it is hard to exhaust the list of compliments for this ordinary plant with extraordinary power, it often does not receive the recognition it deserves for its beauty. Yet one can be both kind and beautiful. Chamomile jewellery from the Plantis collection is a well-deserved tribute to the charming appearance of this hero of summer landscapes. White flowers with yellow centers, gazing at the sun from meadows and pastures, look like its tiny reflections. Many people know the soothing atmosphere such scenery creates. To surround yourself with that relaxing rural mood, simply wear chamomile earrings, a floral pin, or a necklace with a white flower. Chamomile, however, symbolizes more than beauty and health. In Slavic tradition it also represents true love and connection. That is why jewellery with this motif is perfect as wedding jewellery and as a meaningful gift for loved ones.
Flower symbolism - forget-me-not jewellery
Forget-me-nots have broad symbolic meaning. The quiet request hidden in their name made bouquets of blue flowers a common gift before long separations, such as distant journeys. A forget-me-not necklace or brooch makes a meaningful gift for someone important in our lives whom we want to assure will always remain in our memory. Forget-me-not jewellery can also serve as a talisman for busy dreamers with their heads in the clouds who sometimes need a gentle reminder to stay grounded.
Flower symbolism - poppy jewellery
The poppy appears in ancient beliefs and biblical stories as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life. In Slavic tradition it symbolized fertility and also represented the crossing of the boundary between life and death. Poppies commonly symbolize imagination and pleasure. Jewellery with a poppy motif is an elegant accessory for people who love art and live according to the motto carpe diem. A poppy pin may also be worn during Remembrance Day ceremonies. In Anglo-Saxon countries it symbolizes respect for those who died defending their country, while in Poland it also functions as a symbol of spilled blood and remembrance of ancestors.
Flower symbolism - cherry blossom jewellery
Cherry blossoms, known in Japan as sakura, are among the most important symbols of Japanese culture and nature. Their delicate pink petals appear on trees only briefly in spring, which is why they have long been associated with the fleeting nature of life. Their short yet spectacular bloom reminds us that human life is also fragile and transient, and that every moment should be cherished. At the same time, cherry blossoms symbolize renewal and new beginnings, as they bloom when nature awakens after winter. They also represent beauty, delicacy, and harmony with nature. In Japan the blooming of sakura is celebrated through the tradition of hanami, when people gather in parks and gardens with family and friends to admire the blossoms and celebrate the arrival of spring. Through this tradition, sakura has become a symbol not only of transience and beauty but also of joy and appreciation for fleeting moments.
Flower symbolism - pansy jewellery
Pansies symbolize family bonds and brotherly love. They also serve as a metaphor for loyalty and devotion. According to legend, two brothers living at opposite ends of the earth communicated with one another through these flowers. Distance did not change their feelings they cared for each other and sent signals about their well-being or need for help through these delicate blossoms. In the Plantis collection, pins and earrings shaped like pansies are available. Colorful jewellery in the form of a flower, given to someone close, can become a declaration of support and a symbol of remembrance. Pansy pins and earrings gifted to siblings, family members, or friends remind them of the bond they share, regardless of distance.
