The artistic simple yet bold stud earrings were designed during Anna Orska’s journey to Vietnam. The minimalistic design complemented by the elements of Vietnamese lacquerware reflects the designer’s contemporary interpretation of the traditional Southeast Asian art. The black rounded elements were handcrafted by local artisans in Vietnam using a lacquer painting technique that dates back six thousand years. High gloss lacquered components were inlaid with bird and plant ornaments hand cut from mother of pearl. At the bottom of the earrings, a silver tube with a delicate freshwater pearl was attached. The original design will be perfect as an addition to a flowing dress and a loose tunic.
