Silver stud earrings

The round earrings are inspired by lava, softly flowing down volcanic slopes. After solidifying, the liquid rock creates porous stones with an irregular structure, which we translated into jewelry forms in our Poznań ORSKA workshop. The earrings were made by hand. Heated liquid silver was applied by jewelers in layers, and then carefully polished on each layer. As a result, the seemingly rough and irregular surface is smooth, gentle, and almost liquid-like. The earrings have burnt, irregular holes of different sizes. The liquid silver formed a designer piece with a texture which resembles fragments of volcanic rock. The stud and clasp of the earrings are also made of silver. The additional decorative element is a brass stud in the shape of a bullet, which emphasizes the distinctive character of the whole. The earrings will complement both elegant and casual outfits.
