Jewelry collection inspired by crystal glass from the Huta Julia

Anna Orska visited Piechowice, where under the watchful eye of glassworkers and decorators she learned the secrets of making crystal glass. Its connection to the jewelry tradition is not obvious, but should not come as a surprise. Sparkling and perfectly clear crystal glass reflects light like diamonds and is most often decorated with the so-called brilliant cut. The latest Julia jewelry collection is the result of a journey in which ORSKA returns to the roots of glassmaking traditions and combines them with jewelry craftsmanship. The geometric forms, hand-cut in Anna Orska's workshop, were set in brass - and for the first time - gold-plated settings.

Gold-plated stud earrings with crystals

The long stud earrings were made of brass in the ORSKA workshop, then gold-plated and decorated with faceted crystals. The metal elements were additionally decorated with small facets arranged in rows, which are a reinterpretation of traditional decorative patterns of crystalware, which are based on a large number of fine cuts. The cuts gave the earrings an original, elegant character. The earrings were made by hand.
