Cut crystal glass in a gold-plated setting - Julia artistic jewelry collection
The connection between crystal glass and the jewelry tradition is not obvious, but should not be surprising. Sparkling and perfectly clear crystal glass reflects light like diamonds and is most often decorated with the so-called brilliant cut. The latest Julia jewelry collection is the result of a journey in which ORSKA returns to the roots of glassmaking traditions and combines them with jewelry craftsmanship. The geometric, hand-cut forms were set in brass - and for the first time - gold-plated settings.
Necklace with crystal pendant
The necklace was handmade in the ORSKA workshop from gold-plated brass. It consists of a stiff, thin hoop, which is decorated with a large, round pendant made of crystal glass. Faceting gave the crystal a geometric form, while vertical cuts added character and sparkle. The necklace is finished with a few centimeter extension, a snap hook clasp and a round ORSKA logo. The finishing touch to the necklace is a box chain with a clear crystal that will sparkle on the back.
How to wear short necklaces?
A short necklace, sometimes called a choker or (in French) collier - is a type of necklace that is worn just below the neck. Short necklaces are most often matched with evening outfits, as they beautifully emphasize the necklines of elegant blouses or dresses. On the other hand, the gold-plated necklace from the Julia collection will look great paired with a leather jacket and a t-shirt. The short gold-plated necklace will also go well with high and square necklines, as well as unbuttoned shirts and blazers.
