Silver necklace with irregular pendant

The necklace is inspired by lava, softly flowing down volcanic slopes. When solidified, the liquid rock forms porous stones with an irregular structure, which we translated into jewelry forms in the ORSKA Poznań workshop. The necklace was made by hand. The ball chain refers to military identification tags. It was decorated with an expressive bold pendant in the shape of a piece of solidified magma. The original pendant was created by layering drops of hot silver. Thanks to the patient process of sanding and polishing, the seemingly rough and harsh surface is smooth, soft, and looks almost liquid. The pendant has burned irregular holes of different sizes, which gives the design some lightness. On the pendant, the jewelers placed a single gold-colored stud, resembling a bullet. The necklace is finished with a round raw ORSKA logo. The design evokes associations with primal power and strength. The jewelry will work well with both casual and elegant outfits, adding a fierce look to the owner.

The Lava jewelry collection – brass and silver

ORSKA is eager to experiment, playing with the form and material of jewelry. The Lava collection has two faces, expressed in two completely different lines. Their common point is handmade, raw, and industrial character. What makes them different is their manufacturing technique and material - sterling silver or brass.
The brass line was inspired by splintered lava, with a shape reminiscent of hewn rocks. The jewelry in this part of the collection is characterized by minimalist design, raw character, and simple geometric cut.
The second silver line, which includes the necklace, consists of irregular shapes, inspired by lava flowing down mountain slopes. It has a porous, heterogeneous structure, reminiscent of volcanic rocks. The spontaneous shape that the molten silver has taken on reminds us of the wildness and unpredictability of the Earth’s elements.

How to wear men’s jewelry?

Most men's necklaces are 50 cm long, allowing the pendant to be placed between the top two buttons of the shirt. If you prefer longer necklaces, choose a 55-63 cm long version, so that the pendant sits in the middle of your chest. Men’s fashion is not just about classic white shirts and black suits. Long necklaces are easiest to style with t-shirts, blazers, or tank tops. In autumn and winter they look good with turtlenecks or warm sweaters. Well-chosen jewelry can change the style of the entire outfit, and add character to the overall look.
