Although perfectly round, flawlessly white pearls were once considered the most valuable, today we know that the most beautiful specimens come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Baroque pearls do not seek to please any canon or follow a straight line. They are created in the rhythm of their own nature. Their diverse forms encourage personal interpretation and invite us to move beyond convention. Anna Orska collected pearls for years, carefully selecting those with intriguing and unexpected shapes. The ones she chose became the foundation of the Perle collection — jewelry in which every pearl is a sculpture created by nature. Imperfect, unrepeatable, one of a kind. Each one is a unique piece that required an individual jeweler’s approach. That is why, in the ORSKA workshop, when working on the silver settings for the pearls, we first created paper sketches tailored to the curves and irregularities of each pearl, and only then cut them out of silver sheet, bent and formed so that metal and pearl would become inseparable.
