ORSKA jewellery is mainly made of brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc in different proportions.
Our goal is to make our projects as durable as possible. However, jewellery is a delicate product which requires proper use. Here are a few rules that will help maintain the jewellery’s properties.
Keep me in the package
With every purchase made in our shop, you receive a special box designed to store the jewellery. The packaging ensures proper protection against light and humidity.
Make sure I avoid contact with chemicals
When using jewellery, make sure to avoid contact with chemicals, especially perfume and cosmetics which are used every day. Jewellery might change colour as a result of such contact and it may become more vulnerable to mechanical damage.
Protect me against water and humidity
Brass is a metal which loses its bright gold colour after contact with water. This is why it is so important to take off jewellery before every contact with water.
In time, even in the case of proper use, jewellery begins to gain the noble colour of old gold. This is a natural process which takes place as a result of contact with air. Jewellery can be refreshed by means of professional cleaning in our workshop. You should not clean jewellery on your own.
Remember that I am a delicate commodity
Jewellery is a delicate product, vulnerable to any mechanical damage and random events. One must remember to treat it gently and take it off before conducting housework, engaging in sport activities or sleeping.
Handmade
Every piece of our jewellery is made of elements which are created thanks to the diligent work of our jewellers. Every product is handmade, which means that each and every one is unique, one of a kind. This is why small differences and irregularities are part and parcel of our products.
We invite you to visit our boutiques where you might order to clean or repair your jewellery.
