Malachite – a history written in layers

This time, the inspiration came straight from within the Earth. At the center of our new story is malachite – a deep green stone whose natural pattern intrigues with its uniqueness. No two malachites are identical. Each piece bears its own arrangement of bands, ribbons, and circles, a record of a process lasting millions of years. Layer by layer, nature created patterns impossible to copy. The individual structure of the stone's veins is as personal as a fingerprint. Malachite is attributed with symbolism of transformation, wisdom, and spiritual development. For us, this symbolism is a metaphor for maturity and the process of self-creation. Just as malachite doesn't come into being in an instant, we slowly discover, step by step, what it means to be ourselves. We grow throughout our lives, like this stone: waves of discovery, ribbons of emotion, circles of meaning. Layer by layer, we create our own unique pattern.

Long necklace with a magnificent malachite pendant

The necklace was handcrafted in the ORSKA jewelry studio from a delicate gold-plated chain enriched with asymmetrically placed details. Openwork links with a forged texture, small geometric elements, and subtle malachite accents appear along its form, giving the composition rhythm and lightness. The intense green of the stones breaks the warm glow of the metal, drawing the eye and emphasizing the natural character of the collection. The individual elements are placed irregularly, making the necklace resemble a personal collection of signs and symbols. Openwork forms contrast with solid surfaces, and geometric shapes meet the organic pattern of malachite. Despite the richness of detail, the entire piece remains light and subtle, encouraging wear on its own or paired with other ORSKA necklaces in multi-layered compositions. Due to the use of natural stones, each piece may differ slightly from the one shown in the photo, and the individual arrangement of strands and shades of green make each necklace one of a kind. The necklace has an additional chain at the clasp, allowing you to delicately adjust its length. The extension is finished with the ORSKA logo.

How to style the necklace?

Cascade! The necklace's subtle composition makes it perfect for layering. You can pair it with a shorter necklace with a malachite pendant or a delicate chain from the Moon collection, creating a composition based on different lengths and textures. The small modules arranged along the chain beautifully complement more expressive shapes, so the necklace also looks great with a rigid choker or geometric pendants from the Holos collection.
