Bery is a jeweler’s herbarium filled with plants that hold a special place in our hearts. It includes clovers for luck, mistletoe for prosperity, and poppy heads for abundance. Just like our grandmothers once did, Anna Orska placed between the jewelry pages of this collection what she found in meadows, fields, and at the edge of forests. Each element was recreated in the ORSKA studio with the precision of traditional botanical knowledge - as if someone had examined the forest floor through a magnifying glass and transferred what they discovered directly into jewelry.

This Bery Collection ring is a gold-plated brass wheat ear that gracefully wraps around the finger. The plant has been recreated with exceptional precision. This attention to detail was achieved by casting real wheat ears, allowing every individual grain nestled along the delicate awns to remain visible on the surface of the jewelry. The ring preserves the authenticity of the natural form, impossible to achieve through other methods. The golden shine of the brass highlights the texture of the wheat ear, making the piece shimmer with every movement of the hand - just like real grain glowing in the sunlight.

In Polish folk culture, the wheat ear has always held a special meaning. It marked the end of the season’s work in the fields and the beginning of celebration. During harvest festivals, the most beautiful wheat ears were chosen for wreaths carried in ceremonial processions as a gesture of gratitude for the harvest and a wish for prosperity in the coming year. Wheat ears were also placed behind images of saints or hung above the entrance to homes to watch over family members until the next sowing. Bread made from the first flour was shared among relatives as a symbol of unity and gratitude.In many regions, people also believed that finding a full, heavy wheat ear in a field foretold a good year and happiness in love.
