Natural stones, formed by nature in a patient creative process, delight with their unique arrangement of structures, fineness of inclusions and variety of colors. From this richness draws the Monumental jewelry collection, which is a record of the meeting of two traditional techniques: jewelry-making and ceramics. The collection was created in two studios, under the watchful eye of dozens of people. The handmade brass settings enclose fragments of ceramics in colors inspired by natural gemstones, used in accordance with the idea of less waste.

ORSKA, known for her upcycling designs, has breathed a second life into ceramic stones. A life full of beauty. In the Monumental jewelry collection, she used fragments of large tiles that would never make their way into home interiors due to minor imperfections. In the ORSKA jewelry, they end their short adventure and begin a long life closer to the body, in the glow of curious glances.

The ceramic elements were hand-polished at the ORSKA workshop. Using diamond tools, the jewelers worked with each stone separately. The fragile yet durable material does not excuse haste, so grinding one piece required patience and time. The process resembled the faceting of natural minerals, and to do it properly, equal precision was needed. The ceramic stones prepared in this way were framed in gold-plated brass frames and combined with geometric elements with forged or satin surfaces. The whole collection resembles a jewelry puzzle. The individual elements merge together to form a cohesive whole on the body, in much the same way as ceramic elements integrate with each other in home interiors.
