The Monumental collection - a return to the roots

Creating the jewelry in the Monumental collection, Anna Orska returned to her artistic roots. Once again, she reached for a technique unrelated to jewelry-making and adapted it to jewelry forms, proving that the most interesting designs are born at the interface of the unobvious. Once again in her work, the designer faced ceramics - a material that achieves the fullness of its beauty and strength by surrendering to the force of fire. This material, fragile and durable at the same time, delights with its dual nature. It has also been a field of artistic expression for thousands of years - richly decorated ceramic vessels and tiles can be found in temples and palaces across the latitude and at various points along the historical timeline. Ceramics have almost always encouraged artists to reinterpret, easily yielding to artistic fantasies. This time it could not resist ORSKA's creative experiments.

Jewelry from the Monumental collection - at the intersection of crafts

The Monumental collection is a record of the meeting of two traditional techniques: jewelry making and ceramics. The jewelry was created in two studios, under the watchful eye of dozens of people. The pieces created at the Paradyż ceramics factory went to the ORSKA workshop, where each piece, like a natural mineral, was polished by hand. The ceramic stones prepared in this way were framed in brass frames and connected by fine links with geometric elements. As a result, the collection resembles a jewelry puzzle. The brass, gold-plated forms blend well and form a cohesive whole on the body, just as the ceramic elements make great compositions in home interiors.

Jewelry from the Monumental collection - a delight in natural structures

The fragments of ceramics used are inspired by the patterns drawn on the rocks by nature, their individual structure, color composition and inclusions. Admiration for nature's artistic abilities is also written into the DNA of the ORSKA brand, which, inspired by nature, has created a jewelry garden full of jewelry flowers, cones, seeds and leaves. These can be found in the Plantis and Bery collections, among others. However, the brands have something else in common - a passion for environmentally responsible actions. That is why the Monumental collection was created from ceramics that would never have made it to showrooms due to minor imperfections. In ORSKA jewelry, it ends its short adventure and begins the long years of living closer to the body, in the glow of curious gazes.

Jewelry from the Monumental collection - how to wear it?

Geometric, gold-plated forms combined with classically cut ceramic stones have created jewelry that is a synthesis of simplicity and originality. Long necklaces, hanging earrings or impressive bracelets from the Monumental collection, like paintings by Gustav Klimt, the creator of the Viennese Art Nouveau, delight with atmospheric combinations of gold figures with shapes in natural colors inspired by natural stones.
