Exploration and experimentation are embedded in ORSKA's DNA. Wanting to broaden the definition of jewelry, we combined two seemingly incompatible crafts. This is how we came up with the innovative Tattoo collection, which is the result of the work of designer Anna Orska, ORSKA jewelers and specialists, and one of the first tattoo masters in Poland, Sławek Frączek. The handcrafted designs are a combination of what is most beautiful in jewelry and what is most distinctive in images created with a needle on the body. It is a proposition for anyone looking for strong, bold accents, while retaining the right to change their style.

A time-consuming process

Transmission belts, bag manufacturing waste and vintage leather were used to create the Tattoo collection in line with the idea of less waste. Each piece took several hours to tattoo with vegan, non-animal-tested inks. That is sometimes as much as three days of work spent on a single bracelet or necklace! Straight from Sławek's studio, the decorated pieces went to ORSKA workshop, where they were set in brass frames with an irregular, gently undulating surface. The original structure was created by heating the metal surface with a torch. The collection is limited. Each piece has its own individual feature, making it one-of-a-kind.

Rich symbolism and japanese inspiration

The designs that adorn the jewelry in the Tattoo collection are inspired by the history, mythology and culture of Japan, which the Tattoo Master has interpreted in his own way. Among the symbols appear phoenixes, which symbolize peace; dragons, which bring welfare and prosperity; peonies, which represent the emperor; and cherry blossoms, which are associated with the passage of time and the transience of life.
