Guatemala collection – craftsmanship discovered in travel

The Guatemala collection is the result of another journey by Anna Orska in search of authentic crafts that continue to thrive in the farthest corners of the world. From the "Crafts of the World" series — in which each collection is born in a different country — this time it was Guatemala, a land where jade is hidden in the earth and women weave fabrics that record the history of generations. For the Maya, jade was a talisman that gave strength, protected life, and connected people with the invisible. Weaving, in turn, was the language of women — colors and patterns were never random, serving as an alphabet full of meanings woven into the material. ORSKA combined these two worlds: the spirituality of the stone and the memory of the fabric. Jade hand-polished by master Stanislavo was set into minimalist silver and gold-plated brass settings. Fabrics from Chichicastenango became limited-edition kimonos and woven bracelets. The Guatemala collection is a meeting of tradition and design — jewelry that carries stories rooted in culture while remaining open to a new chapter.
