Jewelry from the Semios collection – find your symbol
Culture is a book where over the years various traditions have added their narratives. Encapsulated in signs and symbols, they transcended borders, sometimes changing meanings. They built communities and identities, sparked imagination, enabled understanding, and preserved stories and heroes from oblivion. From this mosaic of symbols, we drew motifs characteristic of Greco-Roman, Hindu, and Central Asian traditions. We combined them into original constellations, giving them new meanings. Each piece in the collection is a palimpsest where layers of meanings, times, and places connect you with what you want to keep in memory, protect, or recall. Where new meanings overlay the old, there is also space for your story. Add your chapter!
Gold-plated wide band ring with ornaments
This wide ring from the Semios collection was handmade in the ORSKA jewelry workshop from gold-plated brass. Its surface is decorated with ornaments inspired by various cultural traditions, where decorations served not only a decorative function but also symbolic and protective purposes. Ornaments were present on temples, fabrics, weapons, vessels, and of course – jewelry. Each pattern had its meaning: spirals symbolized the cycle of life, energy, and rebirth; plant motifs referred to fertility and harmony with nature; geometric forms emphasized order, infinity, and spiritual balance. The characteristic slightly irregular texture, subtle engravings, and beautifully finished edges give this wide band a raw yet noble character.
Wide band rings – how to style them?
A wide band ring fits perfectly on any finger. You can wear it classically on your ring or middle finger, but it also works excellently as a thumb ring. Worn on the thumb, it can serve as a statement ring—a ring that is not just “an accessory” but the main accent of your outfit. Its massive, decorative form doesn’t need company to attract attention and build the character of your entire look. But if you like layering and contrasts, you can confidently pair it with thin rings on adjacent fingers or combine it with jewelry in a different metal color—mixing metals is one of the trendiest styling solutions.
