Jewelry from the Semios collection – find your symbol
Culture is a story written over centuries — a collection of narratives created by various traditions that left traces in the form of symbols and signs. They crossed borders, changed over time, but always played an important role: uniting people, shaping identities, inspiring imagination, enabling communication, and preserving the memory of the past, heroes, and stories. Drawing inspiration from the rich symbols of Greco-Roman, Hindu, and Central Asian traditions, we created the Semios jewelry collection. These motifs were combined into original compositions to which we gave new meanings. Each piece of the collection is a layered story — a palimpsest of meanings, eras, and places that connects you with what you want to remember, protect, or rediscover. Where the past meets the present, space opens for your story.
Silver signet ring with the sun symbol
This ring was handmade in the ORSKA jewelry workshop from oxidized sterling silver 925. Its massive form draws the eye to the central sun symbol, which is embossed on the wide signet face. The relief pattern refers to ancient talismans and carries rich symbolism — the sun is a sign of life, energy, rebirth, as well as awareness, wisdom, and truth. In many cultures, it is seen as a source of inner strength and clarity of mind. The band, with its irregular surface, widens upward, transitioning from a braided texture resembling a braid to richly decorated ornaments. Spiral motifs, flames, and textured sides give the ring a raw, almost ritual character — as if it were found among the ruins of a forgotten temple. The dark graphite color highlights the depth of the decorations and adds distinctiveness to the jewelry.
Signet – jewelry with history
In ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, signet rings were worn as seals — an impression of a carved design (coat of arms, sign, symbol) was used to authenticate documents and secure letters. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, the signet indicated origin and social status. In Eastern cultures, it often served as an amulet — protecting against evil, symbolizing inner strength and spiritual light. In modern jewelry, signets are true statement pieces — a manifestation of style, personality, and strength of expression. The signet attracts attention and does not need companions — a single ring is enough to build an entire look. It replaces other accessories — acting as a jewelry signature.
