Moroccan inspiration at ORSKA workshop
Morocco is home to vibrant, saturated colors that can be found in a variety of crafts. Every trip through the souk (market) is a colorful wandering among ceramics, carpets, fabrics and contrasting with this colorful richness, metal lamps, which have stolen the heart of designer Anna Orska. Lanterns with intricate, openwork structures are one of Morocco's greatest artistic traditions. They give diffused light, casting delightful reflections on the walls. The light shines through the intricate patterns of the openwork, imitating the starry sky over a desert landscape. Anna Orska decided to translate this non-jewelry craft into the language of jewelry.
Double natural stone bracelet with artistic pendants
The bracelet was handmade from natural stones, oxidized silver and brass. The four pendants were created in a local Moroccan workshop. The Marrakech masters cut intricate patterns and gave them an openwork structure. To emphasize the play of light and shadow, the jewelry was oxidized at the ORSKA workshop, which gave it a graphite color, contrasting with natural stones in shades of blue: aquamarine and sapphire. The whole piece was additionally decorated with a faceted cubic zirconia in a golden brass setting. The bracelet has a few centimeter extension with a small ORSKA logo and fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
ORSKA bracelets are available in sizes suitable for wrists from 14 cm to 23 cm. On our website, in the “Jewelry Sizes” tab, you will find tips on how to choose the right bracelet size.
Sapphires and aquamarines – natural blue on the wrist
Natural sapphire is a symbol of loyalty and trust. Therefore, jewelry with sapphires will be an ideal gift for a 45th wedding anniversary (sapphire anniversary). The blue of natural aquamarine, on the other hand, evokes positive and relaxing associations with the smooth surface of the sea. Aquamarines were once called the treasure of mermaids. Sailors used them as a talisman to bring good luck and courage. Jewelry inspired by the treasures of Morocco with aquamarine beads is an excellent gift idea for travelers - according to esoteric beliefs, it will bring luck and protection. All sea lovers will also appreciate the beauty of the Baltica collection, in which the main element is natural amber.
