The Orini collection - jewelry talismans with lapis lazuli
The Orini jewelry collection was created in collaboration with Marta Niedźwiecka - psychologist and author of the podcast “O Zmierzchu”. The jewelry forms were inspired by the Moon, for centuries symbolizing cyclicity, inner transformation and harmony between opposites. Each piece in the collection reminds us that life is a journey full of transformations, and acceptance of both light and dark moments allows us to achieve balance. An important symbol in the Orini collection is lapis lazuli - a stone of deep blue color, associated with wisdom and spiritual growth. Jewelry from this collection is not only an elegant adornment, but also a personal talisman that supports in moments of reflection, reminding us that each stage of life is an indispensable part of a greater whole.
Blue necklace of lapis lazuli beads and gold-plated brass
The Orini necklace was handcrafted from matte lapis lazuli beads, which subtly contrast with gold-plated brass elements. A delicate geometric shaped toggle clasp is placed on the front of the necklace along with a small ORSKA logo and lapis lazuli pendant. The ultramarine stone with golden inclusions of pyrite resembles a starry night sky, and its round shape is inspired by a full moon.
Each lapis lazuli is unique. No two natural stones are the same, so the stones that will adorn your necklace may differ slightly from those in the photo.
The necklace goes well with rings with large lapis lazuli stone and asymmetrical earrings from the same collection, creating a distinctive composition for everyday and special occasions. In the Orini collection you will also find a matching bracelet with lapis lazuli beads.
Lapis lazuli - stone of kings and gods
Lapis lazuli is an unusual mineral with an intense blue color. Already in ancient Egypt it was attributed exceptional significance, considered a stone of divinity and eternity. Ground lapis lazuli was used to produce a valuable ultramarine pigment, used to decorate frescoes and in royal cosmetics - it is said that Cleopatra herself used it as an eyeshadow. The stone has always symbolized royalty and spiritual power, which is why it often adorned insignia of power and sacred objects, and its presence in the tombs of ancient monarchs was said to provide them with protection and wisdom in the hereafter.
