The ring was made by hand. The wide silver band with a brushed surface was decorated with a gold-plated setting, in which a faceted peridot was placed. In the form of olivine, it has also been found in the dust of comets and on the Moon. In Hawaii - where peridot is found - it is believed that these beautiful green stones are the tears of the god of fire, Pele. Some also attribute magical properties to it.
