Pins and earrings from the kingdom of insects – Plantis collection
The new chapter in the Plantis collection invites you into the vibrant kingdom of insects, where each species – from the tiny ant to the majestic beetle – plays an irreplaceable role in the ecosystem. Straight from the meadows, forests, and backyard gardens, insects have flown into the ORSKA jewelry workshop, where, instead of stinging, they dazzle. Ladybugs, beetles, fireflies, flies, and moths have taken on new forms. This is how artistic pins and earrings were created, with each detail recreated with precision worthy of a watchmaker… or an ant queen. The jewelry from the Insects line shows the world of bugs from a different, friendlier perspective, encouraging us to take a closer look at them.
Brown pin in the shape of a Cockchafer
This pin is a tribute to one of the most recognizable insects of Polish meadows. The Cockchafer-shaped pin is made from brass painted in a warm brown hue. The Cockchafer’s head is adorned with characteristic brown antennae, resembling fan-shaped eyelashes. The legs and head elements are gold-plated, giving them a shiny, deep color. The intricate construction of the Cockchafer’s body is held together by watchmaker screws that connect the cut-out pieces. These screws also serve as shining decorations on the Cockchafer’s shell and eyes.
How to wear insect pins?
Pins from the Plantis collection don’t tolerate boredom. Ants, mosquitoes, and Cockchafers feel best in groups. When pinned to a blazer’s lapel, a bag, collar, or hat, they create compositions that spark admiration and curiosity. The Cockchafer pin can be worn alone as a subtle accent or paired with other pins shaped like mosquitoes or fireflies, creating a bold composition. Their form perfectly complements minimalist styles. A smooth turtleneck or simple blazer allows the insect pins to fully spread their wings and brighten up the outfit.
