Anna Orska found a workshop in Morocco where a variety of shapes and ornaments are masterfully created from metal. A small metalwork workshop in Marrakech produces traditional Moroccan lamps every day, bearing witness to the extraordinary imagination and virtuosity of the masters, which are achieved with the simplest of tools. The decorative motifs of the lanterns created by maallem (masters) are in line with Islamic art, which means you won't find human or animal figures among them. Instead, abstract ornaments, repeated, interlaced lines of geometric patterns and floral motifs, including leaves, flowers and interlacing vines, dominate. Nature-inspired motifs are closest to Anna Orska's heart. Nature is an infallible artist whose achievements inspire creative minds regardless of latitude. And with common interests, it is easier to find a common language, even despite communication barriers!

Dangle earrings with lace structure and a blue touch

The long, hanging earrings were handmade from nickel silver in a Moroccan workshop. The Marrakech masters cut an intricate floral pattern and gave the oval elements a lace-like texture. They then deepened the relief to highlight the ornamentation. To emphasize the play of light and shadow, the symmetrical earrings were additionally oxidized in the ORSKA workshop. The whole design was juxtaposed with minimalist, round elements and connected by brass frames with stones in sea blue. The studs and clasps were made of silver.
