Meteoros - jewelry with cosmic particles

The Meteoros anniversary collection was created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ORSKA brand. The motif of falling stars is not accidental - celestial bodies entering the Earth's atmosphere are seen from Earth as luminous streaks. At the sight of shooting stars we make wishes! Since the brand's inception, we have been driven by a desire to constantly take on creative challenges. For 15 years we have been able to accomplish this dream. We are constantly on the lookout for unique materials and non-obvious solutions, valuing upcycling, recycling and combining non-jewelry crafts from around the world. The Meteoros collection is a faithful reflection of these values. Handmade jewelry from the Meteoros collection was created using the metal casting method. Liquid silver and gold-plated brass in our jewelry workshop formed irregular frames that softly wrapped the silvery stones. As a result, asymmetrical earrings, long necklaces, stiff bracelets or wide rings have cosmic shapes, evoking associations with galactic particles. They are original and unconventional.

We made the gold-plated necklace by hand in the ORSKA workshop. Its main decoration is a pendant with a fragment of the Campo del Cielo meteorite. The irregular, raw stone resembles an uncut space diamond. The meteorite is surrounded by a gold-plated setting in an irregular cosmic shape. Liquid metal formed the shape, evoking associations with the Big Bang, from which everything began. The minimalist ball chain fastens with a functional lobster claw clasp for comfortable wear. The design is complemented by the ORSKA logo and a few centimeter extension.

Meteorites, like natural stones, are unique, so they may differ slightly from those shown in the photos. Thanks to this uniqueness of cosmic particles, each piece of jewelry from the Meteoros collection is one of a kind.

Meteorite fragments from heavenly field - Campo del Cielo

As scientists estimate, meteorites were formed about 4.5 billion years ago, when the Solar System was forming. However, they have "only" been on Earth for thousands of years. The Campo del Cielo meteorite comes from a massive meteor shower that fell on what is now Argentina about 4-6 thousand years ago. It is one of the most fascinating fragments of the cosmos available on Earth. Its crude metallic structure contains mainly iron and nickel. With its unearthly history and impressive durability, it makes an ideal material for unique jewelry, combining both natural beauty and mysterious character. It is a unique stone that adds a touch of cosmic magic to any look. The golden luster and irregular form of the pendant remind us of the mysteries of the universe, making this jewelry one of a kind - a perfect combination of classic and modern.
