Bali - the island of flowers

Nature and rituals are ubiquitous and inseparable in Bali. Lush vegetation is an important part of the ceremonies that mark the rhythm of life on the island - it is the link between the tangible and the invisible; the everyday and the magical. When Anna Orska returned to the Indonesian flower island after eight years, she decided to create a new collection of jewelry from the unchanging Balinese roots: rituals, vegetation and traditional craftsmanship. She succeeded in combining these three elements in hand-carved components with an island flora motif. Long earrings and necklaces, delicate bracelets, pins and rings feature black and white carvings in the shape of lotus flower, rose, chrysanthemum and hibiscus.

In creating the jewelry in the Kembali collection, we used the craft of carving, which in Indonesia is passed down from generation to generation. The decorative element of the pin is a white rose created by local masters. Each flower was created in an individual process taking up to several hours. From the Ubud area, the white flowers made their way to the ORSKA atelier, where they were set in gold-plated brass finished with a snake tail-shaped element. On the inside of the pin is a delicate engraving with a snake skin motif. The floral pin will work well in both everyday styles and more elegant ones, adding a subtle charm to the owner. It is also a good choice for travelers who want to have a piece of Bali with them at all times.
