The Orini Collection - Orska x Niedźwiecka
The Orini collection is a jewelry amulet for those who are writing a new chapter of their lives, remembering that every transformation begins with acknowledging the past and drawing strength from it. Its key element is lapis lazuli, a stone with a deep blue hue interspersed with golden inclusions of pyrite, which evokes associations with the starry sky. The form of the jewelry is inspired by the moon. This universal symbol of rebirth and transformation reminds us that after every twilight comes dawn.
Striking necklace with magnificent lapis lazuli
We made the necklace from gold-plated brass in our jewelry workshop. The stiff rim of the gold-colored necklace creates a harmonious setting for the round pendant with natural lapis lazuli. The large stone of deep ultramarine color is decorated with natural gold inclusions of pyrite, thanks to which the pendant resembles a starry sky enclosed in the stone. The accompanying smaller pendant with the same stone completes the composition, adding lightness and finesse. The minimalist form and carefully crafted details combine modern design with timeless elegance. The necklace is a distinctive accent to any styling, blending perfectly with both everyday sets and evening creations.
Each lapis lazuli is unique - natural differences in the structure and color of the stone make each piece a unique work of nature, emphasizing the individualism and unique character of this jewelry.
Lapis lazuli - a prized stone with an intense blue hue
Lapis lazuli has fascinated people around the world for centuries. In Ancient Egypt, Lapis was a stone associated with the gods, heaven and eternity. It symbolized protection, divinity and wisdom. It was believed to have the ability to ward off evil. In ancient Greece, lapis lazuli was believed to be the “stone of heaven” because of its color and was believed to bring harmony, protection and healing to the body. Since the Renaissance, lapis lazuli has been seen more as a symbol of luxury and refined taste. It was used in the jewelry of the aristocracy and as decoration for everyday objects such as caskets and dagger handles. If you are interested in its history, we invite you to read the article about lapis lazuli on our blog, where you will learn much more about it!
