The second life of ceramics in the Monumental collection

ORSKA, known in the Polish jewelry industry for upcycling, once again proves that there is no craft that cannot be adapted into jewelry forms. This time, our atelier received fragments of large ceramic tiles for interiors, which, due to minor imperfections, would never have made it to showrooms. Fragile, yet durable, the material does not like haste, so grinding each piece requires patience and time. The process resembles the faceting of natural minerals, and to do it correctly, equal precision is needed. Elements prepared in this way were framed in brass and combined with geometric gold elements. In ORSKA jewelry, the colorful ceramics begin their long life closer to the body and in the glow of curious gazes.

Elegant necklace with ceramic stones

The artistic necklace from the Monumental collection was handmade in the ORSKA studio in Poznan. The necklace was created by juxtaposing several multicolored ceramic fragments and gold-plated elements with forged surfaces. Geometric forms emphasize the uniqueness and natural beauty of the raw material, while the box chain gives the whole piece a fresh and rock-style character. The necklace is finished with a few centimeter extension, a lobster claw clasp and a round ORSKA logo. Although the necklace looks great solo, it also likes the company of other designs from the Monumental collection - a wide bracelet or a ceramic pin will form a duo with it, which cannot be passed by indifferently.

The fragments of ceramics used are inspired by the patterns drawn on the rocks by nature, their individual structures, compositions of colors and inclusions. As a result, each necklace is slightly different from the one shown in the photos.

A short necklace, sometimes called a choker or (in French) collier - is a type of necklace that is worn just below the neck. Short necklaces are ideal for evening outfits, as they beautifully accentuate the necklines of elegant blouses or dresses. The gold-plated necklace from the Monumental collection will also look amazing paired with a simple white t-shirt and a biker jacket. Short gold-plated necklaces will go well with any type of neckline. They will also match with slightly unbuttoned shirts and blazers.
