The Monumnetal collection - at the intersection of the unobvious
In creating the jewelry in the Monumental collection, ORSKA once again reached for a technique unrelated to jewelry-making and adapted it to jewelry forms. This time she faced ceramics - a material that achieves the fullness of its beauty and durability by surrendering to the force of fire. This material, fragile and durable at the same time, delights with its dual nature. It has also been a field of artistic expression for thousands of years - richly decorated ceramic vessels and tiles can be found in temples, palaces and homes across the latitude and historical timeline. Ceramics have almost always encouraged artists to reinterpret, easily yielding to artistic fantasies. This time it could not resist the creative experiments of the ORSKA brand, and their results can be found in the Monumental collection.
Handcrafted gold-plated pin
Jewelry from the Monumental collection was handmade in our studio from gold-plated brass. The pin was created by combining ceramics in a brass setting with a round gold-plated element. ORSKA jewelers artfully combined opposites: a forged, irregular metal surface with elements with a satin finish. The fragments of the ceramics used are inspired by the patterns drawn on the rocks by nature, their individual arrangement of structures, compositions of colors and inclusions.
Due to the uniqueness of the ceramic elements used, the pin may vary slightly in the color of the ceramic stone.
Gold pins not only for special occasions
Seemingly small pins can make a great impression! They easily catch the eye and attract attention. Pins or brooches look good solo, but will also work well in duos and larger sets. They like the company of delicate necklaces - the short necklace with a ceramic pendant from the Monumental collection will work well in this role. If you like bold forms, match them with the stiff bracelet, which you will also find in the collection. If you prefer softer designs, you can compose your own set from five colorful pins. Do not be afraid to mix and match the collection! The gold pin looks good with jewelry from the Moon collection, inspired by the lunar landscape, and thanks to a similar color scheme, it will also go well with amber jewelry from the Baltica collection.
