METEOROS - WEAR THE WONDER
4.5 billion years ago the Sun was born. Along with the brightest star in our sky, planets and other celestial bodies formed, losing rocky crumbs in collisions. Cosmic particles entering the Earth's atmosphere were visible as bright streams of light. The Meteoros collection was created from these falling stars. Wanting to emphasize the sparkling brilliance and mysteriousness of the silver lumps, we framed them in irregular forms created by metal casting. Meteorites
are the oldest stones on the planet, which makes them the most unearthly material in jewelry. Using fragments of Aletai and Campo del Cielo meteorites, we reached for the stars, bringing the Cosmos to Earth.

Jewelry from the Meteoros anniversary collection - wear the wonder
The Meteoros anniversary collection was created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ORSKA brand. It is no coincidence that it features shooting stars as the main characters. When a celestial body enters the Earth's atmosphere it draws a bright streak in the sky, and good thoughts and wishes flow in a whispered stream on Earth. We wish for continued creative challenges. And for more than a dozen years we have succeeded in fulfilling this dream.
We look for the unobvious and unconventional materials, we value upcycling and recycling, we adapt non-jewelry crafts and materials from all over the world. The Meteoros collection is the quintessence of this.
Inviting you to celebrate our anniversary together, we wanted to give you something truly unique, so we reached for the stars by bringing Cosmos to Earth. Meteorites are the oldest stone we can find on our Planet. They were born together with the Solar System about 4.5 billion years ago. This makes them the most unearthly material we have ever worked with. We want them to make themselves comfortable in the brand for longer.
Handmade jewelry from the Meteoros collection was created using the cast metal method. Liquid silver and gold-plated brass in our jewelry workshop formed frames that softly wrapped the silver stones. As a result, asymmetrical earrings, long necklaces, stiff bracelets or wide rings have cosmic forms, evoking associations with galactic particles. They are original and unconventional.
Jewelry from the Meteoros anniversary collection - meteorites
The meteorites came to our studio from remote corners of Argentina and China.
The huge rock was found in Argentina's Gran Chaco region several hundred years ago, sparking the imagination of Indians living in the area at the time. They believed that the Campo del Cielo meteorite was a stone of the Sun God and made pilgrimages to the crater it formed. The Campo del Cielo fragments that adorn Meteoros jewelry are irregular and rough. They look like uncut cosmic diamonds. They can be found in the meteorite pendant necklace or the delicate ring, among others.
The meteorite, which was found on Chinese territory, was named Aletai. It was huge - it weighed 100 tons, and the largest fragment found weighed 28 tons. It disintegrated into smaller pieces over an area of 500 kilometers. The Aletai meteorite is distinguished by a peculiar structure called Widmanstätten patterns. Alternating plates of kamacite and taenite (i.e., iron with low and high nickel content) form a composition designed billions of years ago. So you have to admit that this is definitely a timeless pattern! Aletai meteorite can be found in the striking necklace, asymmetrical earrings or classic, but unworldly, cufflinks.
Jewelry from the Meteoros collection - necklaces with tektites
The Meteoros collection also includes limited edition necklaces with a tektite pendant. These dark, glassy stones are earthly relatives of meteorites - they were formed by the melting of earthly material under the impact of a massive meteorite fragment. The tektites, which can be found in jewelry from the Meteoros collection, are probably 790,000 years old. Imagine how much they have already seen! Together with you, they can start the next chapter of their adventures.
Jewelry from the Meteoros anniversary collection - pirytes
The meteorites in the Meteoros jewelry collection harmonize with pyrite, which sparkles with a silver-gold luster. The shimmering stones help bring out the cosmic light hidden in these small pieces of the universe. Some believe that pyrites promote willpower and determination. They help overcome obstacles and have a motivating effect, making these stones a great support for personal and professional goals. Thus, pyrites are good companions for meteorites - falling stars encourage one to dream, while sparkling stones promote the realization of dreams. Meteorites and pyrites are a duo full of contrasts, which not only impresses in appearance, but also carries a profound message - about the courage to dream and the strength to make it a reality.
