New Stone – A Gem from the Far North

A new kind of stone has joined the New Stone collection – deep blue, like the vast waters embracing the Arctic shores. It was created from marine litter collected along the wild coastline of Svalbard: a 120-liter barrel, three meters of fishing net, and a lost buoy. The barrel was cleaned and cut into pieces like a puzzle, and its fragments inspired the shapes of three gold-plated pins – created as a symbol of what humanity leaves behind on Earth.
The collected litter was ground down, molded into a unique shape, then sanded, refined, and set like a precious gem. These handcrafted pins, worn close to the heart, are meant to remind us that the feeling of helplessness in the face of overwhelming plastic pollution can be transformed into meaningful action.

Large Pin with Arctic Blue Stone – from the New Stone Collection

This pin is part of the limited edition New Stone line and was crafted by hand from gold-plated brass. Soft, flowing contours gently embrace a synthetic stone in hues of blue, green, and white – evoking the icy, crystalline landscape of the Arctic. Its abstract, irregular shape is reminiscent of sea ice floating through frigid waters.

Each stone is one of a kind. Slight differences in color and texture emphasize the unique character of each piece in the New Stone collection.

Tidying up Svalbard – A Small Pin, A Powerful Message

The three handcrafted pins featuring Arctic blue stones were created in collaboration with explorer Anita Horowska and the forScience Foundation, which conducts scientific research while regularly cleaning the remote beaches of Svalbard. Between 2019 and 2024, the forScience team removed over 8 tons of waste from the pristine Arctic wilderness. 100% of proceeds from pin sales go directly to support the forScience Foundation and their continued work in protecting Svalbard – a place that, though distant, is close to our hearts. How to Style Your Pin

Pins are one of our favorite pieces of jewelry – they invite creative play and bold styling. Wear one solo for a minimalist statement or layer multiple together for a striking effect.

Traditionally worn on a lapel or buttonhole, we also encourage you to try more unexpected spots – pocket flaps, bag straps, shirt cuffs, or collars. Each pin draws the eye and captures compliments effortlessly.
