The pendant, placed on a round-link chain, first catches the eye. Full, satin lips hand-carved from arang wood by Balinese master craftsmen form the centerpiece of the necklace. The miniature sculpture was set in a round medallion of gold-plated brass in the ORSKA workshop, topped with a minimalist geometric element – an original depiction of a nose. The chain has an extension allowing adjustment of the necklace length.
Arang wood is characterized by its almost black, deep color, durability, and density, which allows carving decorative ornaments.
