The Kembali jewelry collection - back to nature

The idea for the Kembali collection was born during designer Anna Orska's return to the Indonesian island of flowers. Creating carved jewelry, the designer reached out to what is unchanging on the island by combining craftsmanship, nature and rituals. Lush nature is omnipresent in Bali. Colorful blooming plants adorn homes, private shrines and Balinese major public temples, combining the tangible with the magical. For the Balinese, flowers are a symbol of sincere prayer and devotion, and an important and integral part of daily rituals. They are the basis of the Canang Sari, a Balinese thanksgiving ceremony in which each member of the family places his or her basket, hand-woven from palm leaves and filled with colorful flowers and incense, in the home temple. Island flora is also one of the main motifs adorning the Kembali jewelry collection.

Delicate pin with white rose from the Kembali collection

In creating the jewelry in the Kembali collection, we used the craft of carving, which in Indonesia is passed down from generation to generation. The decorative element of the pin is a white rose, carved by Balinese masters in an individual process that takes up to several hours. From the Ubud area, the white roses made their way to the ORSKA workshop, where they were set in gold-plated brass. The dome shape of the rose was further decorated with a snake-shaped element. The reverse of the pin was decorated with an engraving with a snake skin motif. Such an accessory will suit both everyday outfits and more elegant ones, adding a subtle charm to the owner. It is also a good choice for travelers who want to have a piece of Bali always with them.
