Kembali jewelry collection: where nature sets the rhythm
Nature and rituals are ubiquitous in Bali, permeating the daily life of the inhabitants, being the link between the tangible and the invisible. These observations have raised the question of the presence of rituals in our lives. Increasingly, seeking respite, we escape to nature. Nature soothes and inspires, and is the best way to get away from the stress, rush and pollution of the city. Kembali's jewelry collection is meant to be a reminder that getting back to nature should be our most important ritual.
Long necklace with snake-shaped pendant
The necklace was handmade from gold-plated brass. The jewelers cast an intricate snake from brass, taking care to precisely reproduce the structure of its scales. They then molded it into an artistic shape. The tip of the snake's tail was suspended with a fine link, making it movable. The jewelry was additionally subjected to gold plating, which gave it a deep and lasting color. The ball-weave chain, in addition to the snake-shaped pendant, is finished with a suspended ORSKA logo and a convenient carabiner clasp. The links on the chain allow the necklace to be fastened at two heights.
Necklace with a snake as a symbolic gift
In Bali, snakes are considered guardians of sacred sites, treasures and water sources. They embody wisdom, immortality and vital forces. The snake foreshadows transformation, which is supposed to lead to betterment. It is a metaphor for the closed cycle of life and death. It carries the message to let go of what no longer fits us and make room for the new. Rich in symbolism, this pendant necklace from the Kembali collection will make a good birthday or name day gift for any person who loves travel. The snake (Aesculapius) in European culture can also be recognized as a symbol of doctors and apothecaries, for whom jewelry with a snake motif can be a symbolic gift.
