Aurora - Light Captured in Stone

Aurora is jewelry inspired by the dance of the Northern Lights. The stars of the collection are raw tourmalines shimmering in every shade - from lush greens, through pinks and violets, to extraordinary “watermelon” hues. Each stone is unique, with its irregular shape highlighted by a hand-designed setting in gold-plated sterling silver. The collection is complemented by cool aquamarines and crystal-clear Herkimer diamonds with golden and graphite inclusions. A striking counterpoint comes in the deep black of schorl - a tourmaline resembling the night sky just before it is lit by the aurora. Aurora is where the rawness of the earth meets the colors of the sky. It is one-of-a-kind jewelry created for those who believe that nature is the greatest artist.

Wide Bracelet with Colorful Tourmalines from the Aurora Collection

This striking bracelet is made from multicolored tourmalines arranged in vibrant stripes, reminiscent of the aurora borealis. The stones used in this colorful mosaic come from Rajasthan, where they were processed in a small family-run jewelry workshop. Anna Orska met the workshop’s owners during a design journey to India. The tourmalines were not polished but cleaved, preserving their raw character and natural, irregular forms. Each stone was individually set in gold-plated silver to emphasize its asymmetrical shape. This approach makes the collection truly unique, as jewelry usually relies on standardized, repetitive settings. The bracelet is finished with an extender and a pendant ORSKA logo charm, allowing the length to be adjusted.

Tourmaline - The Multicolored Gemstone

Tourmaline is one of the rare minerals that naturally occurs in almost every shade of the northern lights. Each stone is believed to carry its own energy and symbolism. Green tourmaline, or verdelite, is associated with balance and renewal, often chosen by those seeking growth or a fresh beginning. Pink tourmaline, or rubellite, symbolizes empathy and tenderness and is said to inspire courage in relationships and strengthen bonds, making jewelry with pink tourmalines a thoughtful anniversary gift. Blue tourmaline is linked with inner peace and intuition, while amber and sandy-hued dravite are believed to transform negative energy into positive thoughts.
