Repousse jewelry from the Nepal collection

Jewelry from the Nepal collection was born from the decision to return to the place, technique, and people I met years ago. The return became an opportunity to expand on this story and discover what a familiar place can reveal today, something that was not yet visible during my first trip. The repoussé elements of the collection were created in two Nepalese workshops. Strike by strike, millimeter by millimeter, local artisans extracted embossed ornaments from the metal, leaving in each one the unique imprint of their own hand. The richly decorated components were brought to our jewelry studio, where they were transformed into earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches and rings. The Nepal collection is expressive, sculptural, and full of detail. Gold-plated brass gives the jewelry a warm glow, while silver-plated and oxidized alpaca gives it a deep, graphite shade that highlights the texture of the reliefs. The ornaments are complemented by natural labradorites and raw Himalayan crystals with unique facets and inclusions.

The bracelet is made of a string of smoothly cut, round labradorites. The whole is topped with elements of silver-plated and oxidized alpaca, whose graphite shade highlights the convexity of the repoussé decorations. The winding vines and tiny leaves symbolize development, the continuity of life, rebirth, and the bond between humanity and nature. The bracelet is completed with a clasp with a pendant featuring the ORSKA logo.

Labradorite - a stone of changing perspective

At first glance, labradorite appears gray and almost inconspicuous. Only in motion, when the light hits at the right angle, does its surface sparkle with shades of blue, green, and gold. This optical effect is called labradorization. According to one legend, labradorite was created when the aurora borealis became trapped in rocks. Its luminous reflections have long been associated with mystery, intuition, and inner transformation, and in the symbolism of stones, it is attributed to the courage needed to embrace change and shift perspective.

A string of labradorite will easily fit into both women's and men's wardrobes. In feminine styles, it will subtly illuminate natural fabrics and simple forms. In men's jewelry, it will become a distinctive accent that breaks the classic pattern and emphasizes individual character. This is unisex jewelry, whose ultimate style depends on personality and how it is worn.
