BEETWEEN EARTH AND SKY
For centuries, the measured rhythm of hammers has resonated through the workshops of the Kathmandu Valley. With thousands of precise strikes, Newar master artisans shape fine sheets of metal into intricate repoussé reliefs. Created by Anna Orska in close collaboration with local craftspeople, the Nepal collection reimagines this time-honoured language of ornament through a contemporary lens. At its heart is the lotus - a flower that rises from the mud towards the light, embodying transformation and the courage to embrace a new direction. Its symbolism is echoed by natural labradorite, whose seemingly dark surface reveals flashes of blue, green and gold with every movement. One-of-a-kind necklaces set with Himalayan crystals complete the collection. Their sculptural facets evoke rugged mountain peaks, while natural inclusions resemble clouds suspended within the stone. Each crystal holds a fragment of the Himalayan landscape and the clarity found high above the noise of everyday life.

The Nepal Collection – Jewelry from the Himalayas
The Nepal collection is a line of handcrafted artistic jewelry that blends the centuries-old craftsmanship of the Kathmandu Valley with Anna Orska’s contemporary design aesthetic. At its heart lie intricate ornaments created using the repoussé technique by Newar master artisans. These hand-decorated elements were then brought to the jewelry studio, where artisans transformed them into earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and brooches.
Jewelry from the Nepal collection is distinguished by its wealth of botanical motifs and their traditional symbolism. Twining vines and leaves symbolize growth, the continuity of life, and the human connection to nature. The lotus—rising from the mud toward the light—also plays a vital role, representing transformation and openness to a new path. Each design is created by hand, meaning individual pieces may vary in the arrangement and definition of their ornamentation. These variations bear the mark of the artisan’s hand, making every piece of jewelry unique.

Hand-Repoussé Jewelry with Labradorite
We have complemented the rich Nepalese ornamentation with natural labradorite—a stone that shifts in appearance depending on the angle of the light.
Its seemingly dark surface reveals flashes of blue, green, and gold as it moves. Labradorite complements both the gold-plated forms and the graphite-toned elements created through silver-plating and metal oxidation. The labradorite brings light, color, and movement to the Nepal collection. Its smooth surface contrasts with the rich texture of the repoussé metal, while its shimmering hues bring the entire piece to life. Because the stone’s appearance shifts with the viewing angle, the jewelry looks slightly different each time and truly comes into its own when in motion.
Unique Himalayan crystal necklaces
The collection is rounded out by unique necklaces featuring Himalayan crystals. Their natural facets evoke rocky peaks, while internal inclusions resemble clouds captured within the stone. Each setting was crafted for a specific crystal, tailored to its unique proportions, fissures, and natural shape. Every piece is distinct and one-of-a-kind—varying not only in clarity, color, and the density of inclusions but also in size and shape. Only 60 necklaces were created for the Nepal collection. They come in various lengths—some suspended on short rigid collars, others on long chains—and finishes, available in either gold-plated or silver-plated and oxidized versions. This makes necklaces featuring Himalayan crystals a great fit for both men’s and women’s wardrobes.
How to style jewelry from the Nepal collection?
You can freely mix and match the various designs within the collection, or combine them with pieces from our other collections. Nepal collection jewelry pairs beautifully with the Morocco collection—both share a love for traditional craftsmanship, rich ornamentation, and graphite-toned metal. Combine them through color while contrasting textures: pair the raised botanical reliefs of the Nepal line with the airy, lace-like openwork of the Morocco pieces. A wide Nepal collection bracelet looks great with delicate earrings or a Morocco pin, while Nepal earrings can be complemented by an openwork necklace. Labradorites harmonize beautifully with the aquamarines, cubic zirconia, and blue stones of the Morocco collection, creating a cool palette of blues and graphite. To keep the look harmonious, choose one dominant piece and treat the others as subtle accents. In this way, two distinct worlds of craftsmanship come together to tell a single, personal story.
How to style earrings from the Nepal collection?
Bold earrings featuring botanical reliefs can serve as the focal point of an outfit. They look excellent paired with simple, clean-lined pieces: a white shirt, a minimalist dress, a suit, denim, or soft knitwear. Asymmetrical earrings pair well with a delicate ear cuff or a small labradorite stud worn in an additional piercing. When wearing an ornate pair, it is best to forgo a chunky necklace to keep the area around the face uncluttered.
How to style bracelets and rings from the Nepal collection?
Wide bracelets from the Nepal collection can be worn symmetrically—one on each wrist. This bold, almost sculptural look works best with a simple dress, a suit, or a shirt with rolled-up sleeves. If you prefer a lighter composition, let one large bracelet take center stage while combining several more delicate pieces on the other wrist. A cohesive look is achieved through matching metal tones, labradorite accents, or a recurring botanical motif.
Choose rings that balance the proportions of your set. A wide signet ring or a sculptural band complements a single cuff bracelet—ideally worn on the opposite hand. If wearing two large bracelets, opt for more delicate rings or a single labradorite ring. Leaving some fingers bare adds a sense of lightness to the overall look and allows the ornamental details to truly stand out.
How to style necklaces from the Nepal collection?
Short necklaces strung with labradorite beads add a subtle glow to the neckline of a shirt, dress, or simple top. You can wear them on their own or pair them with a long necklace featuring a round, repoussé pendant to create a striking layered effect. Rigid collars look best worn close to the neck—against bare skin with a plunging neckline or over a plain turtleneck. A long, elaborately decorated collar acts as a sculptural piece of jewelry, so let it take center stage. Pair it with a simple dress, a blazer, or a minimalist jumpsuit. A solid-colored background highlights the hand-repoussé ornamentation, while the labradorites bring the composition to life with flashes of blue and green. With such a bold necklace, small earrings or subtle ear cuffs are all you need.
The Nepal collection in a men's wardrobe
Bold textures, a graphite metal finish, and understated forms give the Nepal collection a unisex appeal. Repoussé signet rings, wide bracelets, and minimalist necklaces pair perfectly with a T-shirt, shirt, blazer, or leather jacket. They can be worn individually as a bold statement piece or layered together—for instance, pairing a signet ring with a bracelet, or combining a short necklace with a longer one featuring a crystal pendant. The iridescent flashes of labradorite and the visible marks of craftsmanship lend a unique, distinctive character to men's outfits.
Which piece from the Nepal collection makes the best gift?
Jewelry from the Nepal collection makes a meaningful gift for someone who charts their own path, embraces change, and views the world from diverse perspectives. It is an ideal present for enthusiasts of travel, traditional craftsmanship, and objects born of authentic human connection and skilled handiwork. With its lotus and vine motifs, the collection is perfect for someone embarking on a new chapter in life or making a bold decision. Labradorite—a stone that reveals its light only when viewed from different angles—symbolizes a fresh perspective and the ability to see possibilities that were previously hidden. The unisex signet rings, bracelets, and minimalist necklaces are excellent additions to a men's wardrobe, while the earrings, statement collars, and long necklaces will delight those who appreciate bold, sculptural jewelry.
