Return to repoussé - Nepal jewelry collection

After years, Anna Orska returned to Nepal, the place where it all began. And to the people thanks to whom that first step became the beginning of something bigger. The return was a test of how experience changes perspective. From above, things regain their proper proportions, and a familiar landscape can reveal paths previously unseen. The new collection was created to the rhythm of hammer and chisel. In the repoussé metal, each ornament retains the subtle differences resulting from the movement of the craftsman's hand. "There is no path in the sky," says a verse from the Dhammapada, which accompanied the designer on this journey. However, there are encounters that point the way. And returns that allow us to understand where the first step led.

Gold-plated earrings with labradorites from the Nepal collection

These delicate stud earrings are made of gold-plated brass and labradorites. The settings, adorned with floral ornaments, envelop smoothly cut natural stones. At first glance, the labradorite has a gray hue, but when the earrings are set in motion, it reveals unique reflections of green, blue, and gold. The pair fastens with a gold-plated silver stud.

Labradorite - a symbol of shifting perspective

Labradorite is one of those stones that doesn't immediately reveal its full character. Its surface, seemingly calm and gray at first glance, can be surprising. Just a slight movement is enough for colorful reflections to sparkle deep within the stone. This phenomenon, known as labradorization, causes the stone to appear slightly different each time, depending on the angle of light and the point from which it is viewed. This variability makes it a symbol of shifting perspective. What appears ordinary from one perspective can be full of color and depth from another, just like labradorite itself. Symbolically, it is associated with the ability to see things differently than first impressions suggest, and with the courage to reconsider what seemed already familiar. In the Nepal collection, labradorite decorates necklaces, earrings, brooches and bracelets, adding shine to the repoussé ornaments - its opalescent surface contrasts with the hand-hammered relief, complementing the plant ornaments with a touch of shine.
