Traditional decorations from the Kathmandu Valley - Nepal jewelry collection

After years, Anna Orska returned to Nepal, the place where To whom it all began. And to the people thanks to whom the first step became the beginning of something greater. The return was a test of how experience changes perspective. From above, things regain their proper proportions, and a familiar landscape can reveal paths previously unseen. The new collection was created in the rhythm of hammer and chisel. In the repoussé metal, each ornament retains the subtle differences resulting from the movement of the craftsman's hand. "There is no path in the sky," says a verse from the Dhammapada that accompanied the designer on this journey. However, there are encounters that point the way. And returns that allow us to understand where the first step led.

Long asymmetric earrings made of gold-plated brass from the Nepal collection

These asymmetric earrings are made of repoussé elements of gold-plated brass and mounted on gold-plated silver studs. Each consists of three gradually elongating parts: the smallest at the stud, the central element, and the longest relief with a floral ornament that closes the composition. One earring is decorated with a single faceted labradorite, the other with two smoothly cut stones placed on the central element. The metal surface is covered with traditional Nepalese motifs: lotus leaves and petals, and winding vines.

Stories written in metal and stone in jewelry from the Nepal collection

In the Nepal collection, stories are hidden in the metal surface. Repoussé vines entwine necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, telling stories of growth, the continuity of life, and constant rebirth. They are accompanied by lotus leaves, symbols of purity, transformation, and the path to light. Each ornament grows from a language developed by successive generations of Nepalese artisans. The creator doesn't start from a blank page: he reaches for inherited motifs, retains their meaning, and at the same time leaves the mark of his own hand in them. Thanks to this, tradition isn't frozen in time, but constantly takes on new forms. At the ORSKA studio, labradorite, a stone that transforms with each glance, has joined this story. Seemingly dark and austere, it reveals blue, green, and gold reflections as it moves. The light only appears at the right angle, reminding us that a familiar place—like Nepal revisited years later—can reveal a completely new story.
