Minakari requires not only technical skill but also incredible patience and surgical precision. Long Silver Stud Earrings with Asymmetric Pendants

These long earrings are made of 925 sterling silver. Their upper part is adorned with a small, round element with a black crystal, below which hangs geometric, elongated shapes, topped with richly decorated oval pendants. The pendants are adorned on each side with floral motifs in black enamel. The ornaments are asymmetrical, with different floral patterns depicted on each earring, giving the pair a unique, one-of-a-kind look. All the decorations were handcrafted in an Indian workshop, whose owners the designer met during her travels. The asymmetry of the ornaments refers to the Persian craftsmanship tradition, according to which minor imperfections are a conscious element of the work.
